Naji is the founder and owner of Shatliff Soccer and is responsible for an array of roles within the company such as staff development, recruitment, club training protocol, playing philosophy and creator of our unique C.A.R.E program. Naji hails from London, England and has been coaching since 2002. Naji is a highly motivated, goal driven individual with strong communication skills and a passion for education in soccer. Naji’s extensive experience in youth soccer has helped shape a positive training and work environment for individuals to grow and develop.

Originally from England, Paul has coached for 12 years in the UK, MI & now NJ. Paul is the General Manger for Shatliff Soccer and his responsibilities include professional development, curriculum and logistics. Paul is also the Goalkeeper coach for Seton Hall University, a D1 college that competes in the Big East. Paul brings with him a wealth of experience. From the age of 9 to 19 Paul played for Liverpool FC, training and playing with Liverpool’s youth, reserve and first team squads. Upon being released from LFC Paul attended college acquiring his Fdsc in Sport & Exercise Science from Myerscough College.

From Old Bridge, NJ Tyler has been with Shatliff Soccer since 2015. Tyler’s passion for the game runs deep and his energy and enthusiasm for coaching youth soccer is evident for everyone to see. Tyler has held numerous Head Coaching positions in multiple organizations throughout NJ. Tyler is now the head trainer for numerous 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 teams at Monroe Township Soccer Club and is our Director of Recreation and Programs Department.

Kaushik’s enthusiasm and love for the game is evident from the first moment you meet him. Whilst in college Kaushik was able to play and study in England expanding his knowledge of the game and his experience enabled him to shape his coaching style and playing philosophy. Kaushik was a 4 year starter at Rosemont college from 2013 to 2017. Coach K is currently the Head Coach for the MSC 2016 girl red, MSC 2016 girls white & MSC 2010 boys.

From Spotswood, Nick graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Whilst studying at Georgian Court, Nick played soccer and was the teams captain in his senior year. Nick has played youth soccer in NJ his entire childhood for various different clubs and teams and is passionate about working with the next generation of youth soccer players in NJ. Helping them develop and achieve their aspirations is his prime objective.

Currently the Nottingham High School Varsity Head Coach, Nicholas is in his second season with Shatliff Soccer. Nicholas from Monroe, NJ has also coached for the National Players Academy where he was responsible for planning and implementing sessions to a wide variety of players all the way to academy level. Since Nick has joined our team he has acquired his USSF “D” license and is actively perusing his UEFA "C". Nicholas is passionate and eager to help develop the next wave of youth soccer players in NJ and we are thrilled to have Nick part of our team.

From Spotswood New Jersey, this is Matt's third season as a Shatliff Soccer team trainer. Between having played at varying competitive levels and still helping out with his high school's varsity team, he is ready for any challenge thrown his way on the field. Before joining the company, Matt graduated from Monmouth University in 2019 and with a degree in Computer Science and loves to solve problems. His coaching philosophy consists of hard work, high energy, and inventive creativity.

Sergio, from Toms River has been working at Shatliff soccer since August 2020. His versatility as a coach has enabled him to work with multiple different ages groups ranging from 5 -16. Sergio represented Toms River South High School and has a number of accolades, including a 2-time Class A South Division Winner and in 2015 his team won the South Jersey State title. Sergio is currently the head coach of the Manalapan 2010 girls, 2009 girls & 2012 boys. Sergio believes in having a creative mindset on the soccer field and encourages expression on the ball in the right moments, being positive, and working hard together as a team to create a positive environment for players to grow and develop.

Originally from Spain, Evan resides in Monroe Township and is currently studying Business & Finance and Kean University. Currently the Head Coach for our 2015 boys and 2014 boys white at MSC, Evan’s calming personality and patience as a trainer allows his players enjoyment and freedom on the soccer field while still creating a positive training environment for all. Evan believes in a possession based style of play that coincides with the Shatliff playing philosophy.

Ryan, from Hamilton NJ has been involved with NJ youth soccer for 15 years and counting. A former college Goalkeeper and High School starter, Ryan understands what it takes to develop creative and knowledgeable soccer players that gain a greater understanding of the game. Ryan previously coached multiple teams in the HTRSA league and is excited to get started. Honesty, leadership and ownership from his players, is what Ryan believes his teams need to prioritize to take their game to the next level.

Coach “Gordie” is a Middlesex County native, having grown up in East Brunswick. He has more than 30 years of coaching experience with teams ranging from 9 to 18 years old. He attended St. Joseph High School in Metuchen and graduated from Rutgers. A long time Monroe/Jamesburg resident, he is currently the freshmen coach at Monroe Township High School.
